Dear friends

I hope by now you all know about our next program which is a Talent Show and GBM on March 19th at the SE Branch Library near Gate parkway from 2-5 pm.

The agenda is as follows: – Pl respond ASAP if there are any additional issues that needs to be discussed during the meeting.

   1. Welcome address
   2. Present proposed Calendar of Events
   3. Present proposed Budget, Update of Tax filing&Monthly reconciliation
   4. Talent Show : 1- hr
   5. GBM continued:

i. Discussion of Calendar of Events and Budget

ii. April 23^rd plans – Tamil New Year Cultural program at

JCDS from 12:30- 5:30pm

iii. Issues to be discussed by the members :

1. JTM Web site courtesy of SGS Technologies

2. Movie screening

3. YG Mahendran drama

4. Govt funds for non-profit organizations

5. April 29^th India Fest plans and call for volunteers

ii. Announce next GBM date – Oct/Nov

It is heartening to see the response to the invitation for the Talent show. But there are still a few spots left. Pl respond quickly, especially for solo/duet performers as well as the singers & instrumentalists, as the Cultural program in April focuses more on the large group participation. Update on Upcoming Events:

 

Also the April cultural event has been rescheduled to April 23rd (Sun) at JCDS from 12:30 to 5:30 due to hall availability and other conflicts. Please mark your calendars for it. More details to follow shortly. We will be sending out the list of coordinators for each age group and for the Ladies and Men’s events. Pl feel free to contact the respective coordinators if anyone in your family would like to join any of the programs. Pl call Vijaya Mahesh (886-7772) if you would like to be a coordinator or a choreographer.
